I wish to thank everyone who has supported us during our time here. I am pleased to advise that you will still be able to shop for product as we will be having the items for sale by appointment at our home residence.

Close to My Heart Party

There has been a lot of interest in the Close to My Heart catalogue I know that many of you have used the stamps, ink, etc. in the store and I wanted to announce that we will be having a Close to My Heart Party at Scrappin' Your Way on Sunday, November 22 at 3:00 for those of you that are interested.

You can view their product catalogues at closetomyheart.com and this month they have a customer special which offers buy 2 get 1 free stamp sets and well they also have the stamp of the month which each customer can purchase at a reduced cost depending on their order amount.

Clearance Sale

It is with heavy heart and sadness that I announce that we will be closing Scrappin’ Your Way at the end of November.

I wish to thank everyone who has been there and supported us throughout our time here.

I want everyone to know that I am happy to have met you all and hope that many of the friendships that I have made will continue to prosper.

We will continue to have Scrapmania on the 20th and 27th so that we can all have that final time of togetherness that we have come to enjoy and look forward to.

All stock will be 25% off starting today and everything must go including all racking, stands, demo projects, shelving, accu-cut machine, tools, etc. so if there is something that you are interested in please let me know.

Weekend Scrapfest

I am pleased to announce that due to popular demand we are going to be having 4 weekends worth of scrapfest in order to allow everyone the opportunity to get their Christmas cards, gifts, etc. done.

Dates: October 17, November 14, November 28 and December 12
Costs: $65.00
Times: Saturday 9-midnight and Sunday 9-5

We will be providing supper on the Saturday and breakfast on Sunday.

Space is limited so please reserve your spots as soon as possible.

September Card / Layout Contest

Well we are all sad to see the summer come to an end but I am glad to announce that we will again be having our Card and Layout Contests.

We are going to try something new with respect to the layout in that you will bet two page maps to go with the paper kits so that we can see what take everyone has on the same pattern.

Kits are now available for pick up until September 16 at which time the customers will be allowed to vote for their winners.

Card Kit $5.00 - Winner receives $15.00

Layout Kit $8.00 - Winner receives $20.00

Update about Scrapbooking Retreat

We wish to confirm the following information with respect to the retreat:

We will be taking as much of the store stock as possible so if there is something specific that you will be interested in getting please advise so we can do our best to make this happen;

We are happy to announce that we will be having a demonstrator teach a glimmer mist class at the retreat on the Saturday which class will be an additional charge of $25;

We will be doing 2-3 "make and takes" which will be done with some newer and unfamiliar product;

That check in will be Friday anytime after 1:00 although you will be responsible for your own lunch since only supper is provided on the Friday and you can stay and scrap until 5:00 on the Sunday but only breakfast and lunch are provided on this date;

We do wish to confirm that we are at least 1/2 booked at this point so if you are interest please keep in mind that you should try and register as soon as possible.

Scrapbooking Retreat

I am pleased to announce that the store will be hosting a retreat on October 2-4 at the Strasborg Bible Camp.

The cost of the retreat will be $189.00 which includes your shared accomodations (2-4 per room) and meals and snacks as well as a complimentary grab bag and your table space for the duration of the weekend. In the event that you do not wish to share accomodations there will be an additional charge of $50.00.

If this sounds like something that you would like to be able to take advantage of please register early as space is limited.

I hope that everyone is as excited about the retreat as I am and did I mention that we will also have product with us so that you don't have to worry about running out of anything.

SIDEWALK SALE

SUMMER YOUTH CAMP

So since I am a mother I know what it is like to have to entertain your children over the summer holidays as well as make alternative arrangments for babysitter holidays which is why we have decided to do youth camp.

We will be holding one week camps all summer for ages 8 and up where we will be making all kinds of cool projects that the kids will love and have something to show for their time spent here.

Details for the camp are as follows:

- $25.00/day or $125.00/week.
- make 3 - 5 projects depending on the projects that week
- lunch provided on the friday
- drop off anytime after 7:30 and pick up anytime before 6:00

Please register early as space is limited.

LAYOUT & CARD CONTESTS

Starting in the month of April we will be having a layout as well as a card contest each month.

How it works:

From the 1st to the 15th of the month we will sell the layout or card kit in the store and price will vary from $3 to $5 depending on content.

For the layout contest you will be asked to provide one layout with the contents provided as well as any of your own embellishment.

For the card contest you will be asked to provide four cards with the contents provided as well as any of your own embellishment.

From the 16 to the end of the month the layouts will be displayed in the store and we will be requesting that the customers vote on their favorite in both categories.

The winners will receive a $10 gift certificate for the store as well as have their layout or cards displayed for the next month.
